About the Office
The Office of the Solicitor-General is established under section 10 of the Attorney-General's Act 1989. The Solicitor General is appointed by the Judicial and Legal Services Commission (JLSC). This esteemed office plays a pivotal role in the legal framework of Papua New Guinea, primarily focusing on State advocacy and representation.
