The Department of Justice & Attorney General provides legal services to the state. These services are overseen by the Deputy Secretary for Legal & Policy.

Under the Office of the Secretary for Justice, such services are delivered by the Legal Policy & Goverance Branch and the Oceans Affair's Office.

Under the Office of the Attorney General, these are delivered by the Office of the Solicitor General and the Office of the State Solicitor.

These services are essential to ensure compliance with the laws of the country as well as with international laws and conventions especially with regards to the country's multilateral relations.
